Family Focus on Future (FFOF)

FFOF is a five (5) week skill-based educational program designed for parents who are have continuous ongoing high conflict in their co-parenting relationship.

 

Objectives:

  • Educate parents on the risk of harm done to children from ongoing  conflict and repeated court involvement

  • Introduce a child and future focused mindset and realistic expectations as separated parents

  • Discover  how to respect each other's differences and communicate effectively

  • Identify methods to defuse conflict, manage emotions, and make mutual decisions for the benefit of their children

 

When: Every Monday from 5:30-7:30 p.m., according to the class schedule. (Link to class schedule)

 

Where: Classes are currently being held via ZOOM

 

Fee: The Fee for FFOF is $100 per parent, due prior to the 1st class. This fee can be paid in person at the Clerk of the District Court located at 710 N. 7th Street, Kansas City, KS 66109 in the form of cash, money order, or cashier's check.
